My role includes looking after the warehouse and its cleanliness, I also deal with everything coming in and out of the business.
I like the fact every day is different and there are new challenges daily.

I enjoy going to the gym, training Muay Thai and kickboxing. I also support Derby County FC and watch the games every weekend.
My background actually lies in mental health! I worked for the NHS for 6 years, starting in forensic services before moving into the community. At Kortec my role involves understanding our clients needs and getting to know how we can enhance their overall product experience.

I’ve been in branding and marketing for 30 years and still enjoy the creative aspects of my roles, always excited to not only create the strategy, but to be very hands-on with the design and execution. My role here at Kortec involves creating greater brand awareness, understanding, and developing potential markets, while ensuring the internal team is brought along for the journey.
My role here is the perfect mix of strategy and positioning, whilst still keeping very ‘hands on’ with the creative side of the messaging – something I’ve always enjoyed and is an important part of the overall marketing-mix.

Outside of work, I enjoy boxing, which I have done for many years, spending time with my dog, and motorbiking in the Peak District and beyond.
My role at Kortec is to support the sales team with calls and administrative tasks. Already having a background in sales and admin, I am able to support my team efficiently.

My background is training new team members making sure they follow health and safety procedures and that the product goes out to customers at a high standard. I’ve just started my role as a QC apprenticeship, which involves spraying out the paint and making the required adjustments. Also, I’m learning how to colour match paint from samples or colour swatches.
I enjoy learning a lot of new skills that will help develop my career and working with a supportive team.
