Inside Kortec

First Furniture+ Networking & Demonstration Day!

To reward and develop our team, we hosted a company event day at Armourgeddon tank driving in Lutterworth on Friday 23rd June.

We worked in small teams where each team learnt how to drive a tank, shoot, and aim, so that when it came down to the final paintball battle, they were able to identify each other’s strengths and weaknesses and choose roles that worked to the team’s advantage so that they were able to beat their opposition.

This was a fantastic opportunity to thank the wholWe had a  great day, expanding relationships and knowledge within the industry. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our open day, it was great to see you and discuss the future potential in the furniture-manufacture market.

We hope you all had a fantastic day and experience at Furniture+, and we wish to see you at more events by Kortec in the future. Please leave us feedback on the day here: Trustpilot

Thanks also to Cefla, Anest Iwata, Festool and Kortec teams who delivered the day - we really appreciate everyone's contribution.e team for all their hard work so far this year, and for everyone to experience our company values in a different environment!

Peak Strategy Re-Launch

When setting our targets at the beginning of 2023, we became aware that we weren’t thinking sufficiently long-term – a lot of good things were happening, but not necessarily with the right priorities. Following on from this we’ve run an extensive programme to review Kortec’s goals and plans to hit them, including a number of external advisors.

We launched the result last week – a clearly defined set of targets and strategies to reach our PEAK! The Kortec leadership team were supported in this by consultants from the CFO Centre, People Puzzles and Universal Business Team.

Thanks for everyone’s contributions – we look forward to implementing the plan and climbing the PEAK together, resulting in great experiences for our clients and Kortec team!

A Sneak Peak Of The New VARLAQ Brochure

After weeks of creative work on the VARLAQ Brochure design we can finally announce that is now complete!

Throughout the process of creating this brochure, we have worked to keep the brand purpose as the focal point throughout – Enhance & Protect!

Now that the design has been approved we are excited to get these printed so that you can start to see these in person…

A Quick Recap

Looking back at our recent LinkedIn updates:

A few weeks ago our technical consultant Paul had an opportunity to carry out on-site training with one of our clients.

Kortec were asked to provide a training/demonstration day to support their company needs by ensuring their new sprayer was fully up to speed with preparation and application techniques. During the training they covered all products supplied by Kortec including water-based interior, solvent-based Interior and exterior systems on various substrates.

We're glad to say that the sprayer is now fully confident with using all systems efficiently, delivering the productivity they need!
