Matt has a background of 6 years in Purchasing & Operations. At Korteche is responsible for all procurement, working on developing our product range and driving efficiencies. He liaises closely with the Operations and Client Care teams to ensure our clients’ requirements are met in full and on time.
Over the last few weeks we’ve been exploring a collaboration with IWATA for supply of spray equipment. IWATA are a top-quality manufacturer of sprayguns, pumps etc – recently their focus has been on the automotive market but they are looking to expand in the general industrial field through partnerships with companies like Kortec.
Two of our Business Development team have recently visited the IWATA UK site for testing and demonstrations, with excellent results. We look forward to launching this new addition to our offering, and bringing you the benefits that high-end equipment can offer!
As we mentioned in our last issue, through 2023 we have a renewed focus on the development and well-being of our team. To help us with this, we’ve engaged with an HR director from People Puzzles, and she is working with us to review what we have in place.
This project will deliver even stronger training, progression and reward programmes across the Kortec and Markham Global teams, maximising skills, efficiency and satisfaction of our valued colleagues. Thanks to Adele, we’ve made a great start on this project!

Last week some of our sales & development team spent time at Cefla's impressive testing site in Italy, trialling and demonstrating some of our cutting-edge products on composite cassettes and doors with superb results!

Many aspects of coating performance are dictated by the solid content. So why do we measure in litres?
Traditionally the industry has talked about paint in terms of litres, but more and more are coming to realise that this is an unhelpful method, and inaccurate by almost any measure.
The British Coatings Federation is actively promoting the training of apprentices across the coatings industry. We’re glad to say this has been a Kortec focus for some time - we have three team members on apprenticeship schemes currently, and plan to recruit a fourth later this year. They bring a fresh viewpoint and a real thirst for learning and development to Kortec, helping our drive forward under the Advance 2023 theme!
