A busy start to the year, with a focus on training our new starter Becky, the 2024 Launch event, plus training plans and much more.

Welcome to the newest member of our sales team - Becky Brown!

Within Becky’s role she will be working closely with Reece and Paul, backing them up with call/email handling, CRM management and client liaison. She will also be carrying out research & networking to support our ongoing growth, new markets and new product launches.
 
We are pleased to have Becky on the Kortec team and look forward to seeing her succeed in this new role!

January Launch

To start our new year off right we kicked off with a full team interactive Launch Event on Tuesday 2^nd January.

Within this presentation we discussed our company’s goals for 2024, the team's survey feedback from 2023, key strategic "PEAK" projects and a breakout "PEAK" mind map session.

Training Plans

To ensure our team continues to move forward through 2024, we have created personalised training plans, including high-quality courses from external providers as well as internal cross-skilling.

We always promote and encourage these training opportunities for our team to allow them to succeed personally - we've proved that developing our team's current knowledge and skills brings rewards in terms of engagement, loyalty, efficiency, and output. We can’t wait to see the results!

We’ve recently reviewed the BCF’s article looking forward at the industry influences for 2024, CEO blog - 2024 – Challenges and Opportunities for the UK Coatings Sector - British Coatings Federation Ltd  There’s some very interesting points made – for a lot of them it is hard to tell at this point what the impact will be, but it’s really important for competitiveness and compliance that we act quickly as an industry as things become clearer.
